Medical Aids
Most medical aids in South Africa do cover chiropractic treatment, and like many chiropractors I can claim directly on your behalf. Below you will find how payment works, the schemes I accept, and answers to the questions I hear most often in practice.

In most cases, yes. South African medical schemes generally cover chiropractic treatment, with the cost drawn from your medical savings or day-to-day benefits rather than your hospital plan. Cover does differ from one plan to the next, so it is always worth confirming with your scheme before your first visit. If you are unsure what your plan allows, a quick call to your medical aid will tell you exactly what is covered.
I like to keep payment simple and transparent, so there are no surprises on the day.
Your first consultation is payable on the day. It covers your full assessment, diagnosis, and first treatment.
Follow up appointments can be claimed directly through your medical aid, funds pending.
When I claim for you, the amount comes off your medical savings, so check you have enough available beforehand.
If a claim is rejected or your savings run out, the balance is payable directly to the practice within 7 days of notice.
